“Scott presented Stand Out! Stand Out! 8 Simple Ways to Be Your Best and Make a Difference! to the parents and students at Wakefield Hills Elementary School recently and shared his powerful message of spreading kindness and always striving to be your best self. His presentation was motivational, highly energetic and the audience left with smiles on their faces! One of my students came to class the following day proudly displaying some of his completed journal pages."
— Donna Petrarca, 5th Grade Teacher, Wakefield Hills Elementary School
"Scott came to speak and read to our students this week in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Week. The visit was incredibly engaging — there was singing, dancing, and even me and our lead teachers got to play percussion on fruit shakers! The children loved the Stand Out book, sang along to the song while Scott strummed the guitar with such animation, and his timing and energy were absolutely impeccable. Any preschool or school-age program should have Scott come out — if your focus is on self-esteem, helping children feel confident, and being good classroom citizens, this visit is a must-see!"
— Erica Saccoccio, Owner, Family Tree Early Learning Center
"Recently Mr. Scott came to read his book to the class and it was beyond inspiring. It actually made me look into my students and how they stand out individually and collectively. I ended up changing one of my classroom boards to add his lessons to the classroom. I was blown away by how many of my students were engaged. It was definitely an eye-opening experience for me and my students. I would love to see more books from him and more lessons to share with my class."
